Cardamom Sweater Junior - English
Construction:
Cardamom sweater is worked from the top down. First, stitches are cast on and increases are made on both the right and wrong side while working flat to create a contiguous shoulder construction. Increases are also made to shape the edge of the neck, whereafter the two shoulders are joined to form the front part of the sweater. From here on the sweater is worked in the round. Increases are continuously made in different positions to give the sweater the detailed lines between the body and sleeves before the stitches are parted for sleeves and body. The body is continued and finished with a twisted rib edge and Italian cast-off. The sleeves are then worked in double broken rib with decreases throughout and finished with twisted rib edges. Finally, stitches are picked up at the edge of the neck and worked in twisted rib and finished with an Italian cast-off.
