Cardamom Booties - English

Construction
The booties are worked from the top down, starting with the ribbed cuff. Once the cuff is complete, the section covering the top of the foot (instep) is worked. Stitches are then picked up, and the work is joined in the round to create the height of the bootie. Finally, the sole is worked flat, binding off stitches along each side as you go. The remaining stitches are joined using Kitchener stitch. The ties are worked as an I-cord.

Gauge
21 stitches x 34 rows measures 10 x 10 cm in double broken rib.

4 mm circular needles.
