Cardamom Bonnet - English

Construction
First, the center section of the bonnet is worked back and forth in rows. Next, stitches are picked up along each side to work the side sections. The back of the bonnet is then worked by extending the center section and picking up stitches along the side sections. Decreases are worked to shape the back of the bonnet. Stitches are then picked up along the front edge, and a ribbed edging is worked and finished with an Italian cast-off. Finally, the I-cord ties and an I-cord edging along the bottom of the bonnet are worked continuously in one piece.

24 stitches x 40 rows measures 10 x 10 cm in double broken rib.

3 mm circular needles.
